Perkins works closely with customers to prepare for China's non-road Stage IV emission standards

China's Non-Road National IV Emission Standard is expected to be implemented starting December 1, 2020, targeting all non-road mobile machinery. To prepare for this new standard, Perkins has intensified collaboration activities with its OEM customers. This newly introduced Non-Road National IV Emission Standard is the first to impose after-treatment requirements on engines installed in non-road mobile machinery used in China. "For Chinese OEMs, the new emission standard is undoubtedly a significant change, but with proper planning and cooperation with experienced engine companies (such as Perkins), OEMs should be able to smoothly achieve compliance.
