Information about engines, generators, and Perkins

Engine A machine capable of converting other forms of energy into mechanical energy, including internal combustion engines (such as gasoline engines), external combustion engines (such as Stirling engines, steam engines), electric motors, etc. For example, internal combustion engines usually convert chemical energy into mechanical energy. The term 'engine' applies both to power-generating devices and to the entire machine including the power device (e.g., gasoline engine, aircraft engine). Engines were first invented in the United Kingdom, so the concept of the engine originates from English, originally referring to a "mechanical device that generates power."

Generator A mechanical device that converts other forms of energy into electrical energy. It is driven by water turbines, steam turbines, diesel engines, or other power machinery, converting the energy produced by water flow, airflow, fuel combustion, or nuclear fission into mechanical energy transmitted to the generator, which then converts it into electrical energy. Generators have wide applications in industrial and agricultural production, national defense, science and technology, and daily life. There are many types of generators, but their working principle is based on the laws of electromagnetic induction and electromagnetic force. Therefore, the general construction principle is to use appropriate magnetic and conductive materials to form magnetic circuits and electrical circuits that induce each other electromagnetically to generate electromagnetic power and achieve energy conversion.

Perkins (珀金斯) One of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of off-road diesel engines, dominating the non-road diesel engine market with power ranging from 4 to 2000 kW.

Perkins specializes in customizing engines to fully meet customers' specific needs, earning the trust of equipment manufacturers. Leveraging this advantage, the company currently supplies engines to more than 1,000 major equipment manufacturers worldwide. These engines are used in over 5,000 different applications across five major markets: agricultural machinery, construction/engineering machinery, power generation equipment, industrial equipment, and material handling equipment.

Since the Perkins engine industrial park in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, was put into operation in November 2008, it has focused on manufacturing the 400 series compact engines and 1100 series medium engines. The Perkins Wuxi engine industrial park also houses a research and development center dedicated to developing products suitable for the Chinese and broader Asian markets.

Perkins' product support teams stationed worldwide ensure that every Perkins engine sold operates normally at all times, no matter which corner of the world it is located. We Weijia Power As one of the two authorized Perkins agents in China, it has always adhered to Perkins' business principles, fully meeting the needs of Chinese OEMs and end users.
