On June 4th, the 2020 Hunan Province Construction Machinery Industry Chain Development Conference, hosted by the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and organized by the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Changsha Construction Machinery Industry Association, and the CICEE Organizing Committee, was successfully held at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. More than 300 participants attended the conference, including leaders from the China Machinery Industry Federation, Construction Machinery Society, relevant departments of the Hunan Provincial Government, municipal and prefectural industry and information technology departments, leaders from provincial-level and above industrial parks, representatives from upstream, midstream, and downstream enterprises in the construction machinery industry, representatives from domestic and foreign construction machinery associations and chambers of commerce, related universities, research institutions, and banks. The conference was hosted by Liao Tingqiu, a second-level inspector of the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. 　　The conference focused on the theme of "Integration of Main and Supporting Parts, Collaborative Development" in construction machinery. It explored new industry values from multiple perspectives such as integrating industry forces, introducing excellent enterprises, building component supporting parks, and improving the industrial chain, aiming to discover new industry opportunities and promote the coordinated development of main machines and supporting parts. Wu Jingsheng, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the Changsha Construction Machinery Industry Association; Guo Xuehong, Rotating President of the Changsha Construction Machinery Industry Association and Vice President of Zoomlion; Gao Haitao, Legal Representative and Vice President of the Changsha Construction Machinery Industry Association; Zhang Yilin, CEO of Schaeffler Greater China; Wang Guoqiu, Chairman of Hunan Qitai Sensor Technology Co., Ltd.; Tang Wei, Deputy General Manager of Hunan Kuangan Network Technology Co., Ltd.; and Tan Lin, Chairman of Hunan Tianhe Guoyun Technology Co., Ltd., respectively gave speeches on topics including the current status and needs of cluster main and supporting collaborative development, current status and needs of main machine enterprises' supporting parts, component industrial park planning and policies, autonomous driving and Industry 4.0, the status and digital progress of hydraulic sensors in construction machinery and standardization, construction machinery manufacturing and product cybersecurity, and blockchain empowering the industrial internet.

　　In his speech, Ma Tianyi stated that when an industry reaches a certain stage of development, the strength of its supporting capabilities directly determines the overall level of industry development. Hunan's construction machinery has formed its unique advantages, ranking first nationwide in revenue, profit, and assets, with the industry's revenue in 2019 accounting for more than one-quarter of the national total. Over the years, Hunan has regarded industrial chain construction as an important measure for building a strong manufacturing province, focusing on solidifying, strengthening, extending, and supplementing the construction machinery industry chain, forming a relatively complete industrial chain. However, the construction machinery supporting capability in Hunan still faces significant challenges. Ma Tianyi introduced that in the next step, Hunan will strive to build a world-class construction machinery industry cluster with strong international competitiveness within about five years, leading the global construction machinery industry in several fields. Not only will it rank among the world's top in market scale, but it will also become the birthplace of global construction machinery technological innovation, a gathering place for high-end manufacturing, and a destination for cooperation and exchange. To achieve this goal, Hunan will integrate resources from all parties to strengthen cooperation in five areas, striving to build a new industrial ecosystem of coordinated and mutually prosperous main and supporting parts.

　　Main machine enterprises such as Sany Group, Zoomlion, Sunward Intelligent, CRCC Heavy Industry, and Xingbang Heavy Industry signed cooperation agreements with supporting enterprises including Hunan Zhonggang Investment Co., Ltd., Hunan Shenghong Machinery Co., Ltd., Changsha Runda Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., and Hunan Shenyi Hardware Standard Parts Co., Ltd., focusing on the construction of centralized blanking service platforms, process equipment service platforms, and collaborative innovation platforms for fastening and connecting technology.
