Please keep this electrical system safety guideline carefully!

Performing one small inspection every day dramatically increases the engineering safety index. Question: Before starting the engine, do you check every time whether the wires are loose or worn? Before starting the engine, tighten all loose electrical connections. Repair all worn wires before starting the engine. To achieve the best engine performance and reliability, it is necessary to properly ground the engine electrical system. Improper grounding can cause circuit malfunction and unreliability. To help prevent sparks from igniting flammable gases produced by certain batteries, the negative "-" cable should be the last to connect from the external power source to the negative "-" terminal of the starter motor.

Doing one more small check every day causes the engineering safety index to soar.

May I ask: Before starting the engine, do you check every time whether the wires are loose or worn?

Before starting the engine, tighten all loose electrical connections. Repair all worn wires before starting the engine.

To achieve the best performance and reliability of the engine, it is necessary to properly ground the engine electrical system. Improper grounding can cause circuit malfunction and unreliability.

To help prevent sparks from igniting flammable gases produced by certain batteries, the negative "-" cable should be the last to connect from the external power source to the negative "-" terminal of the starter motor. If the starter motor is not equipped with a negative "-" terminal, connect the cable to the engine block.

Do not disconnect the battery from the charging device circuit or battery circuit cables while the charging device is operating, otherwise flammable gases produced by the battery may be ignited by sparks.

   Applicable Models: Perkins 1106A-70T, 1106A-70TA, 1106C-70TA, 1106D-70TA Industrial Engines

To achieve the best performance and reliability of the engine, it is necessary to properly ground the engine electrical system. Improper grounding can cause circuit malfunction and unreliability.

Uncontrolled circuits can damage the crankshaft bearing journal surfaces and aluminum parts.

Engines not grounded to the frame may be damaged by electrical discharge.

To ensure the proper operation of the engine and engine electrical system, an engine-to-frame ground strap directly connected to the battery must be used. This direct connection can be achieved by connecting the engine ground wire directly to the frame.

Ground connections should be tight and free of corrosion. The engine alternator must be grounded to the battery negative "-" terminal through a wire capable of carrying its full load charging current.

Both the engine power connection and ground connection should be led from the battery isolator.
