Perkins 2025 GPOWER Power Expo Recap


The 24th Shanghai International Power Equipment and Generator Set Exhibition (GPOWER) concluded on June 13. Globally renowned engine manufacturer Perkins unveiled its new-generation electronically controlled 5000 series and 2600 series engines at the exhibition.

Globally renowned engine manufacturer Perkins unveiled its new-generation electronically controlled 5000 series and 2600 series engines at the exhibition.

Perkins® 5016 Series Electronic-Controlled Engine

Perkins'全新 5000 系列产品 features both inline 6-cylinder and 8-cylinder engines, as well as V12- and V16-cylinder electronically controlled engines. Designed specifically for generator set applications, the Perkins 5000 series delivers dependable power for primary or backup generator sets in critical sectors such as data centers, power plants, and real estate developments. Carefully engineered for peak performance and reliability, this series ensures customers can meet their demands for timely, dependable, and cost-effective power solutions.

Following the debut of the 8-cylinder 5008 engine at the 2023 Power Expo, the 16-cylinder 5016 engine made its Asian premiere during this year's exhibition.

 

Perkins® 2600 Series Electronic-Controlled Engine

The new Perkins® 2606 EP engine will enter mass production in the second half of 2025, designed for stationary generator sets in regions with low- or zero-emission requirements. It delivers a typical power output of 350–625 kVA and features flexible 50Hz/60Hz operation, enabling the generator sets to meet the diverse needs of different regions and applications. This engine is ideally suited for critical applications such as data centers, power plants, industrial facilities, and real estate properties. Moreover, it’s perfectly capable of serving both backup and primary power demands.

The Perkins® 2806C-E18TAG1A, a 18-liter, inline 6-cylinder engine, delivers robust power and exceptional performance, meeting customers' demands for fuel efficiency, durability, and reliability—while also achieving low emissions.

 

Perkins® 1206A-E70TTAG2

The Perkins® 1206A-E70TTAG3 is an in-line 6-cylinder, 7.1-liter engine that delivers an outstanding power solution for generator sets, thanks to its sleek, integrated design.

 

Perkins® 1104C-44TAG2


Perkins® 1104C-44TAG2 is a compact 4-cylinder, 4.4-liter engine that enhances reliability while lowering the total cost of ownership for users.

 

Perkins® 404A-22G1

Perkins® 404A-22G1 is a compact 4-cylinder, 2.2-liter engine that delivers outstanding fuel efficiency, enabling cost-effective, long-term operation in both primary and standby applications.
