Taizhou Kangsheng: A Major Fire Changed My Perspective on the Generator Industry

"In 1997, I left my hometown and headed towards the distant mountains. For the dream in my heart, I came to my second hometown: Luqiao District, Taizhou City. Unconsciously, more than twenty years have passed.
When I first arrived in Taizhou in 1997, my first job was managing a studio.
Generator camp area. Due to the backward technology and craftsmanship at that time, everything relied on manual operation to keep the generator running properly. It required manual labor to ensure 24-hour continuous operation. As I had just started as an apprentice, my work was physically and mentally exhausting. One morning, during the early shift when I was on duty managing, because the switch was not automatic but manually operated, suddenly a burst of fire rushed towards me, burning my entire face. When I saw my face burned like that, I lost the courage to live; life seemed meaningless. At that moment, I thought that this disfigurement would be a burden for life. During that period, I struggled internally. I could not just give up. I wanted to live on. If I died like this, no one would remember me. I must get up from where I fell. I wanted to solve
engine safety issues, as well as the environmental pollution problems caused by this industry.
I must be strong and not let others follow my old path. My experience is not an isolated case. I hope others will not follow my path, as it would bring many problems to families and even society. It was this belief that gave me hope and helped me find the meaning of my future life. A fully automatic, high-efficiency, safe, and pollution-free vision appeared before my eyes. So I secretly told myself that I could not just give up. I must pull myself together and make tomorrow better. From then on, I embarked on the path dedicated to
engine industry safety and pollution-free development.
With this experience and mental journey, I decided to definitely make
engine it better, to make it more economical, safer, more reliable, and more environmentally friendly, so that the sky above us is always blue. This spirit and philosophy gradually became the business philosophy of our entire company and has won continuous praise from customers.
