Perkins marine engines successfully delivered in the first BV classification society project in the country
Zhongshan Chuangyuan Power Equipment Co., Ltd., which obtained factory approval from the French BV Classification Society in 2018, is a relatively large domestic supplier of marine power system equipment. Recently, Zhongshan Chuangyuan completed the delivery of the first batch of four BV-classified marine engine units for the dual-fuel tugboat project with the Port of Singapore Authority. This project includes 2 dual-fuel tugboats, each equipped with 2 main generator sets (a total of 4 units). After thorough consideration, Zhongshan Chuangyuan ultimately chose Perkins marine engines to provide power support. The "Power Solutions Department" of Weijia designed the units according to the environmental requirements of the engine units:

Recently, Zhongshan Chuangyuan completed the delivery of the first batch of four BV-classified marine engine dual-fuel tugboat projects in cooperation with the Port of Singapore Authority.
This project includes 2 dual-fuel tugboats, each equipped with 2 main generator sets (a total of 4 sets). After careful consideration, Zhongshan Chuangyuan ultimately chose Perkins marine engines to provide power support. Vigor's "Power Solutions Department" designed a complete marine engine set solution based on the engine's operating environment requirements: seawater temperature 32°C, engine room temperature 50°C; with strong climate adaptability and wide application, especially suitable for tropical climates, recommending the Perkins E70TAG3M engine. The rated power of the unit is 130kW@1500rpm.

This project is Zhongshan Chuangyuan's first BV-classified project and also marks Vigor's Perkins marine engine's first breakthrough in domestic BV projects. Vigor's technical staff fully cooperated with the classification inspection work of this project, continuously providing technical guidance and support. After close communication and debugging, the BV surveyors gave unanimous recognition and praise during the vessel inspection, and all units passed the inspection on the first attempt.
