Weijia Academy | Application and Installation Training of Perkins 4000 Series Engines
From June 20 to 22, 2018, an application and installation training for Perkins 4000 series engines was held at the headquarters of Vigor Shunde Company. Perkins application engineer Mr. Teng Chao (Leo Teng) and product support manager Mr. Wang Hua (Heaton Wang) were invited as instructors to share their expertise, helping participants better understand the standards and requirements for Perkins engine application and installation, ensuring our products perform excellently under normal operating conditions.

Perkins application engineer Mr. Teng Chao (Leo Teng) and product support manager Mr. Wang Hua (Heaton Wang) were invited as instructors to share, helping the trainees better understand the standards and requirements for Perkins engine application and installation, ensuring our products perform excellently under normal working conditions.
OEM manufacturers such as Guangdong Xidian, Jiangxi Taihao, Yongqiang Lijia, Fuzhou Duomeng, Fuzhou Golden Key, Fujian Ketaide, Dongguan Feierte, Benma Fuli, and Guangzhou Vailin arranged their engineers, technicians, or production staff to participate in the training. The goal was to enrich theoretical knowledge and practical experience through this training and to correct minor installation errors.
The training course focused on detailed guidance on how to correctly and safely install one or more generator sets, covering aspects such as the torsional capacity of the Perkins 4000 series engine, flywheel and flywheel housing, axial float, preliminary data testing, and requirements for engine room location, layout, cooling system, and exhaust system. On the last day of training, product support manager Mr. Wang Hua (Heaton Wang) shared after-sales case studies of generator issues, analyzing problems and summarizing experiences to provide references and methods for trainees to handle similar issues in the future.
Through this training, the trainees gained a more comprehensive and intuitive understanding of the 4000 series engines, and deeply realized that only by continuously injecting new knowledge can one achieve continuous progress and long-term development. It is hoped that OEM manufacturers cooperating with Weijia Power from various regions can apply what they have learned, elevate their respective product services to a higher level, and achieve even greater success!
