2015.5.13 Perkins participated in Shanghai EP SHOW
Recently, Perkins participated as an exhibitor in the International Power Equipment and Generator Set Exhibition held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from May 13 to 15, 2015. At the exhibition, Perkins showcased multiple series of engines from various perspectives, including the 403A-15G2, 1103A-33TG1, 1106A-70TAG, and 1506A-E88TAG. Among them, the 1506A-E88TAG is the latest 1500 series engine developed by Perkins, which officially entered production in March.
Recently, Perkins participated as an exhibitor in the International Power Equipment and Generator Set Exhibition held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from May 13 to 15, 2015.
At the exhibition, Perkins showcased multiple engine series from various perspectives, including the 403A-15G2, 1103A-33TG1, 1106A-70TAG, and 1506A-E88TAG. Among them, the 1506A-E88TAG is Perkins' latest developed 1500 series engine, officially put into production in March. The 1506A-E88TAG ElectropaK configuration (equipped at the factory with radiator, cooling group, and fan) is an 8.8-liter, air-to-air turbocharged 6-cylinder diesel engine that can meet all major power points between 200kVA and 330kVA (both prime and standby power) and can switch from 50Hz to 60Hz. This series will replace Perkins' existing 1300 and 1600 series engines for power generation, offering not only increased load capacity but also up to 7% reduction in fuel consumption (weighted cycle fuel consumption). Performance in high altitude and special environments is also improved by up to 8%.
Perkins offers two power generation system warranty plans for users of the 1500 series: a one-year warranty with unlimited operating hours; or a two-year warranty with no more than 500 operating hours per year.
