In 2010, at the inaugural China Construction Machinery Supporting Parts Industry Most Influential Brand Selection event, Perkins was awarded the title of one of the five most influential power component brands. This year, at the second China Construction Machinery Supporting Parts Industry Summit Forum and Annual Enterprise Selection event, Perkins once again performed outstandingly, leading by a wide margin in the first phase of online voting that lasted four weeks.

　　Among the two awards contested, foreign-funded brands contributed one, and Perkins consistently maintained the top position, still holding the champion status at the end of voting. Regarding the Low Carbon Environmental Protection Award, Perkins also steadily remained within the top three. Riding on this excellent first-round result into the second phase of expert review, Perkins is confident about ultimately winning the award.

　　This selection event is guided by the Construction Machinery Supporting Parts Branch of the China Construction Machinery Industry Association and hosted by Smart Construction Machinery Network, with the theme "Technological Innovation, Low Carbon Environmental Protection, Strategic Cooperation, Industrial Contribution." It sets up two major categories: Person Award and Enterprise Award, targeting all Chinese construction machinery supporting parts manufacturers, distributors, and foreign-funded enterprises, focusing on recognizing main engine enterprises contributing to the development of the supporting parts industry and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Chinese construction machinery industry.

　　Since the early 1970s, Perkins has been serving customers in China and was one of the first Western manufacturers to respond to China's reform and opening-up policy by entering the domestic market. Over the years, it has fully supported China's economic construction and industrial development. In 2007, it invested in building a new factory in Wuxi, Jiangsu. Since the operation of the Perkins Wuxi Engine Industrial Park, it has been committed to meeting the needs of many Chinese main engine manufacturers, helping them overcome challenges in both domestic and export markets. Currently, Perkins has established partnerships with many Chinese construction machinery main engine manufacturers, including Liugong, XCMG, YTO, Zhejiang Dingli, Shandong Weili, Sunward Intelligent, Zhejiang Haotai, Qingdao Zhongrui, Hefei Zhenyu, Hunan Xingbang, Zhejiang Fuwei, and others.
