Cleaning steps for the Perkins 4006-23 engine crankcase breather!

Crankcase Breather Cleaning
(Typical Example Step Description)
1. Isolate engine power supply.
2. Remove nut (1), then remove breather cover (2) from breather body (5).
3. Remove the two breather elements (3) from the breather body (5). Clean the two breather elements (3) using an appropriate filter. Replace the breather elements (3) if necessary.
4. Install the breather elements (3) into the breather body (5). Before installing the breather cover (2), check the breather cover (2) gasket (not shown) and replace if necessary.
5. Install the breather cover (2) onto the breather body (5), ensuring the locating pin (4) aligns with the breather cover (2). Install nut (1) and tighten securely.
6. Restore power, start the engine, and check for leaks.
