# Coolant Temperature Switch #

Monitors engine coolant temperature

The provided switch is used to connect to the panel supplied by the OEM.

  

 

# Boost Pressure Sensor #

Measures pressure in the intake manifold

Signal is sent to ECU (1)

  

 

# Oil Pressure Sensor #

Installed on both sides of the engine;

The engine oil pressure sensor is installed in the main oil gallery;

The provided engine oil pressure sensor is used to connect to the panel supplied by the OEM.

  

 

# Turbo Inlet High-Temperature Shutdown Sensor #

 

 

# Thermocouple #

  Four thermocouples are installed.

  Each thermocouple is installed on each pipe of the exhaust manifold.

  There are two turbo inlet high-temperature shutdown sensors.

  One sensor monitors each bank of engine cylinders.

  One sensor monitors two thermocouples.

  If a high temperature is indicated, the engine will shut down.

  

 

# Speed Sensor #

  Speed sensor failure

  If the ECU (1) does not receive a signal from the speed sensor (4), the engine will not run.

  If the ECU does not receive a signal from the speed sensor (7), the engine will shut down. The faulty speed sensor should be replaced.

  Note: Intermittent failure of the speed sensor can cause unstable engine operation. This may also cause overspeed.

  

 

# Overspeed Sensor #

  The signal from the overspeed sensor is connected to the overspeed switch or the overspeed circuit in the panel provided by the OEM.
