Keep the engine clean to help with heat dissipation and prevent aging....

A clean and tidy engine body is important for engine cooling, extending engine service life, reducing engine aging, and lowering the rate of spontaneous combustion.

Accumulated on engine lubricating grease and engine oil pose a fire hazard, so the engine must be kept clean. Cleaning the engine should not be done directly with a high-pressure water gun, as this can damage electrical components.

Regular engine cleaning has the following benefits:

1. Easier to detect oil leaks

2. Maximum heat transfer efficiency

3. Easier maintenance

It is recommended to let the engine cool for 1 hour before cleaning. Due to the risk of personal injury or death from high voltage, ensure the starting control device is locked and a "Do Not Operate" tag is placed on the control device to guarantee the electrical system is powered off.

When using a pressure washer or steam cleaner, do not aim at any electrical connectors or the cable connections behind them. Avoid washing electrical components such as the alternator, starter motor, and ECU.

During engine cleaning, be sure not to remove safety labels, emission labels, or any other information labels, as these affect future operational safety and engine maintenance.

The engine is the heart of the equipment. When cleaning this heart, it must be entrusted to a trustworthy professional shop (technician). Although the process is not complicated, any carelessness can damage the entire core system.
