Perkins Power Empowers Xinjiang Mining Projects, Elevating Services to a New Level
On June 26, 2025, the Perkins Engine Aftermarket Seminar, jointly hosted by Weijia Power and Oriental Power, was successfully held in Urumqi. Guests including Mr. Huang Guohui, General Manager of Weijia Power; Mr. Wang Penglin, General Manager of Oriental Power; and Mr. Matt Bradshaw, Director of Product Support for Perkins Asia Pacific, along with more than 50 end customers from the mining and energy sectors, came together to celebrate the successful large-scale adoption of Perkins’ 2000 Series engines in Xinjiang’s construction machinery industry—and to unveil the upgraded after-sales service offerings from Perkins.

The Perkins 2000 series has successfully been paired with several large excavators, including LiuGong's 990FHD, XCMG's XE800DA and XE950DA, as well as LinGong's ME106, ME109, and ME130-1 models— all of which are key equipment in Xinjiang's mining industry. Notably, the XCMG XE800DA model has set an impressive industry benchmark at the Jun Dong Coal Mine, achieving a remarkable 12,000-hour milestone without requiring a major overhaul.
